A callous forming on the end of the 2nd toe? Normal. Taken off today. An occasional twinge, owwah from the toes? Normal.
Normal, I like it.
And the small ulcer on the left of the 3rd toe is 80% better than last week. Can it be that we're on the success side of the adventure?
Other steps to improve my left leg, which has been a little weary and achy for carrying the full load during early recovery of the right: starting up at Fitness First again on Wisconsin Avenue above East-West Highway. A couple of times.
Less than a half hour on a bike, 3.25 miles, 22.5 minutes, 100 calories used up. I think it helps the legs.
